Which Size Should I Buy?

Are all the products hand-made?
Our beanies are 100% hand-knit by grandmother artisans, with each piece taking 8–10 hours to complete—making every one truly unique.
For the rest of our collection, we work with trusted partners to produce in small batches, using advanced knitting techniques to ensure consistency, quality, and longevity.
What materials do you use?
We work exclusively with 100% natural fibers—cashmere, wool, mohair, linen, and silk. Each piece begins with months of thoughtful sourcing, seeking out the most exceptional yarns that feel as gentle on the skin as they are enduring in quality.
Where possible, we favor undyed fibers, allowing the material to speak in its purest, most natural state. When color is introduced, we use only OEKO-TEX® certified non-toxic dyes, ensuring every piece meets our standard for both beauty and safety.
On each product page, we share detailed insights into the material—its softness, breathability, weight, and resistance to pilling—so you can understand and appreciate the qualities that make each piece truly special.
How to care for the products?
We have detailed care instructions on each product page on our website. You will also find a care tag inside each garment. If you have further questions, please feel free to reach out to us at info@laolaostudios.com.
ORDER
Can I send LAOLAO as a gift?
LAOLAO makes the perfect gift. If you would like to send a message with your gift, please include your text in the designated field at checkout. We will personally hand write your message on a card and include it in the package.
What is ‘Pre-Order’ and when will a pre-order item ship?
Pre-order items are not immediately shipped once an order is placed as they are available at a later date. All pre-order items are marked as such and a shipping date is stated on the product page for the item.
Do you collect a full deposit for preorder?
Yes. At this time, we collect a full deposit for preorders.
SHIP
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to all addresses in the U.S. and majority part of the rest of the world.
- Free standard U.S. shipping is offered for orders US$75 or more. Flat fee of US$5 is offered for orders less than US$75.
- Free standard global shipping is offered for orders US$75 or more. For orders below US$75, we offer flat fee of US$15. Please note custom and duty charges will be collected as part of the purchase.
- International sales are final sale and no returns will be accepted.

Lost & Missing Packages?
We use third-party shipping providers. We are not responsible for lost, held, or damaged packages during transit. If you run into any issues with the package, please email us at info@laolaostudios.com and we will try to help you.
RETURN
What is your return policy?
If you're unhappy with your product, we will gladly accept returns or exchanges (for orders shipping within the U.S.) initiated within 14 days from the day your order was delivered. Please note:
- We accept returns of our products if they are non-customized, unused, unwashed, with tags and in their original packaging.
- Return label and restocking fee (US $8) will be deducted from your refund.
- Returns need to be shipped within 14 days from your return request date.
- Unfortunately, we do not accept returns for international (outside of the U.S.) orders.
How do I return an item?

Do you accept returns of sale item?
All sale items are final sale and are not eligible for return, refund or exchange. Final sale items are stated as such on the product page.
